Territory Sales Manager, you’ll introduce our unreserved auction services to current and future customers through prospecting, cold calling and account maintenance activities. You’ll assess your customers’ needs and provide solutions based on our service offerings. It’s your job to fill the yard with iron: prepare and present service contracts to secure consignments. Encourage potential buyers and sellers to attend our auctions. Get your hands dirty by assisting with equipment appraisals. We’re not brand loyal at Ritchie Bros. -- you get to work with it all. Take a break from the road and do something different: work at the auction, where all of your customers and colleagues will gather in one place. Monitor market conditions and your competitors' services, prices, and sales. Attend trade shows and represent Ritchie Bros. at professional / trade associations. Here's What You Bring You have at least 3 years of successful quota-driven outside sales experience. Fluency in Arabic and English language is required. An extra language skills is seen as an added value. You’re entrepreneurial by nature. You’ll manage your territory as though it’s your own business. You’re a natural at developing and maintaining authentic customer relationships. You are resourceful at prospecting for new business and you are a fearless cold-caller. Relentless, you’re self-driven to seek new business; you’ve got a passion for the deal. You thrive on achieving results without ever sacrificing integrity. You have strong communication skills, especially when it comes to listening to your customers. It is an asset if you have a current working knowledge of general construction equipment. You have a strong work ethic without sacrificing your sense of humor or your ability to have fun on the job.
