• Research & qualification of potential Starwood SSO Accounts. Create client database for Starwood new hotels opening.
• Establish new Starwood MICE and Corporate accounts to achieve and exceed budgeted room and revenue targets.
• Develop property and specific Action Plans for identified our existing and new hotels and execute plan to meet room night and revenue targets established.
• Preparation of presentations and promotional materials to improve awareness of Starwood Hotels & Resorts to generate maximum revenue for all properties and delivery to GSO Managed customers. Distribution of Starwood fact sheets, collateral and special offers in market.
• Maintain the image of Starwood as the pre-eminent international hotel company and industry leader.
• Maintain a minimum weekly call program of 15 face to face sales calls & aggressive telemarketing plan. This will include the hosting of meals with customers on regular basis.
• Maintain accurate record of activities, new account prospecting pipeline of potential accounts, account profiles, contracts and key account information, including regional tracking in the sales information system and other corporate reports.
• Monitor account production against set targets.
• Actively source new account and develop existing accounts that will meet the yield objective of the hotel from these market segments and source Team Hot leads for other Starwood properties.
• Be actively involved in maintaining all Starwood programs.
• Be critical and demanding of sales standards.
