Responsible for leading, developing & implementing comprehensive total account management for the leading Leisure and Luxury Consortia and agencies that have the potential to drive share to Starwood. These include agencies like Virtuoso, Quintessential etc and other retail agents identified in South Asia. This role will also be to lead the field in providing direction and support to SSO sellers managing these relationships in other regions. This is within the scope of the strategic direction set by the Global and Divisional Sales leadership team. The position is designated for a seasoned Sales professional with a strong passion for the luxury customer who has worked in a luxury branded hotel or in the luxury brand industry with a high exposure to the needs and expectations and buying habits of the high end consumer. The associate will establish strong relationships with relevant accounts, can think strategically and who executes embracing the Starwood Win with Talent model. It is expected that the associate will have optimal visibility with property based Luxury and Leisure sellers and be an advocate for the luxury and retail travel professional within Starwood.
Research & qualification of potential Retail agencies and lead the South Asia strategy for retail and luxury segment.
Role would require to travel Pan India and identify retail accounts, develop all markets with focus on developing retail and luxury business.
Trainings, Roadshows, Fam Trips, hosted Sales calls, Customer events - local and international travel activities to connect travel professionals with relevant hotel contacts. Focus on new additions to the luxury hotel portfolio within Starwood.
Align with the SSO Luxury sellers and Director of Leisure & Luxury Sales Asia Pacifc to lead the simultaneous execution of the Asia Pacific Luxury strategy.
