  • in meeting the strategic goals of the establishment.

  • Share in the establishment of revenue targets for the annual hotel Business Plan for rooms, F&B and minor operating departments.

  • According to Starwood instructions, prepare annual Sales activity plan for the Hotel

  • Maintain the yield management principles as set by yourself, MRM and the General Manager.

  • Analyse the activities of competitor hotels, including their customer base, with the aim of developing and securing new business and providing a market advantage.

  • Participation in developing and reviewing rate structures and conditions applicable to various segments, based on market feedback and market conditions

  • Ensure all Business Development Managers maintain clear and detailed files on all clients including information on results of each sales activity

  • Continually forecast, control and review expenditures in accordance with the Hotels budget

  • Supervise the quality and standard of all sales promotional aids, collaterals and merchandising items.

  • Management of all Sales and administration associates, ensuring they are working towards achieving the hotels revenue budget for the existing and future years.

  • Maintain close liaison with all Starwood Global Sales Offices

  • Possess, apply, and continually develop the specific technical knowledge and functional expertise needed for effective job performance

  • Provide clear direction, establish goals and appropriate timeframes; manage conflicting priorities; delegate to and empower others; remove obstacles and secure needed resources; coordinate work efforts and monitor progress to achieve desired results in a timely fashion

  • Represent the Hotel in trade shows, conventions and promotional events, within the hotel, the industry and customer organizations
