Description

Primary Purpose of the Job:

  • Support the Investor Relations and Compliance Lead in ensuring that the employees of the privatized companies affairs department, and such other relevant employees of QP in relation to services provided to the privatized companies, comply with relevant regulatory and statutory requirements imposed on Industries Qatar (IQ), Gulf International Services (GIS), and Mesaieed Petrochemical Holding Company (MPHC) and their agents, and to ensure that the privatized companies affairs department does not exceed the remit of QP as agent for IQ, GIS and MPHC, and acts within the ambit of authorizations granted by those privatized companies to QP from time to time

Education:

  • BA in law or accounting.
  • A qualified Company Secretary, Lawyer, Internal Auditor or Compliance professional.

Experience & Skills:

  • Have 5 years post qualification work experience in a relevant field.
  • Possess strong analytical skills and be able to resolve complex problems in a tactful way.
  • Preferably fluent in both English and Arabic.
