This opportunity is for experienced or to-be Surgeonswith specialization in Allergy and Medicine or other related speciality. Preference will be given to candidates having license from any medical board in NJ. However, doctors with other states' licenses can also apply with confidence.
As surgeon you will perform invasive medical procedures on patients, usually to correct a medical condition. You will be responsible for:
• Collect the patient’s medical history
• Educate patient and family in helping them make lifestyle changes that contribute to recovery and post op care.
• Experience in setting up sterile fields and assisting doctor with in office procedures, suture/staple removal as well as cast removal.
• Assist doctors with surgeries and non-invasive procedures.
• Function as office nurse, assist with pre-operative instructions, post-operative dressings and appointment scheduling, examinations.
• Perform processing of blood auto-transfusion and follow established procedures during surgery.
• Participate in emergency management operations with DA staff.
• Provide general surgery services to rural community.
• Establish and implement departmental policies, goals, objectives and procedures for newly organize group of general surgeons.
The ideal candidate should have license from the state of NJ and the following qualifications:
• Degree in medicine is essential
• MD or DO qualification
• Emotionally resilient with the ability to make patients feel at ease.
• Excellent decision-making skills and communication.
• Fantastic manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and visuospatial awareness.
• Completed U.S. Medical Licensing Examination
• 5 years of residency training in General Surgery
• Degree in medicine is essential
