As the Quality Head at Brunel's client company in China, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing quality assurance and control processes across Research & Development (R&D), manufacturing, and commercial operations. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring product excellence, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction while aligning with global quality standards. You will develop and implement comprehensive quality strategies to uphold relevant quality standards, regulations, and certifications within the organization.
Key responsibilities include partnering with R&D teams to establish robust design controls and risk management practices for new products. You will oversee quality assurance processes in manufacturing plants to maintain consistency, reliability, and compliance with applicable standards. Additionally, you will lead root cause analysis initiatives for continuous improvement in manufacturing operations. Your role will also involve liaising with regulatory bodies to prepare for audits and inspections while ensuring compliance with local and international quality regulations such as ISO 9001 and ISO 13485.
To excel in this position, you must possess a Bachelor's degree or above along with at least 10 years of experience in quality management, including a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role. You should be well-versed in regulatory requirements specific to the medical device industry and hold Lead Internal Auditor certification in ISO13485 & ISO 9001. Fluency in Mandarin and English is essential for effective communication across teams. This role may require up to 50% travel, including overseas trips.
