We are currently seeking a Site HSE Advisor (Penasihat K3 Lokasi) to join our team in Indonesia, specifically in Central Java, Karanganyar. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying workplace hazards, assessing risks, and implementing controls to mitigate them effectively. Your duties will include overseeing compliance with personal protective equipment (PPE) usage, work permits, and daily safety procedures. Additionally, you will lead toolbox meetings, review Job Safety Analysis (JSA)/Task Risk Assessment (TRA) from contractors, record incidents and near misses, conduct initial investigations, coordinate with operations supervisors to halt unsafe work practices if necessary, compile weekly HSE reports, monitor audit findings follow-up actions, organize emergency drills, and ensure readiness of emergency response equipment.
To qualify for this position, you must have at least a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety Engineering or a related field. A minimum of 3 years of experience as an HSE professional in industrial or energy projects is required. Proficiency in work permit systems, Lockout-Tagout (LOTO), confined space entry protocols, hot work procedures is essential. Possessing a General Occupational Health and Safety Expert certification or equivalent would be advantageous. Strong communication skills for field interactions and report writing are necessary. Experience in conducting internal inspections and audits is preferred. Flexibility to be stationed at project sites and work shifts when necessary along with proficiency in office applications for reporting purposes are also needed.
