As an HSE Advisor at Bumi Khatulistiwa Energy, your responsibilities will include identifying hazards and assessing risks in the workplace while preparing control measures. You will oversee compliance with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) usage, work permits, and daily safety procedures. Leading toolbox meetings and providing safety instructions before commencing tasks will be part of your routine. Additionally, reviewing Job Safety Analysis/Task Risk Assessment from contractors to ensure field mitigation measures are implemented is crucial. Recording incidents, near misses, conducting initial investigations, and recommending improvements are essential aspects of this role.

To qualify for this position, you must hold a minimum of a D3/S1 degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering or equivalent fields. A minimum of 3 years' experience as an HSE professional in industrial/energy projects is required. Proficiency in work permit systems, Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO), confined space procedures, hot work protocols is necessary. Possessing a General Occupational Health and Safety Expert certificate or equivalent would be advantageous. Strong communication skills for field directives and report writing are essential along with experience in conducting internal inspections and audits. Flexibility to be stationed at project sites and work shifts when necessary is expected along with proficiency in office applications for reporting purposes.
