We are currently seeking a diligent HSE Advisor to join our team in Indonesia, specifically in North Kalimantan, Tanjung Selor. As an HSE Advisor at BlueWave Energy Contractors, your responsibilities will include identifying hazards and assessing risks in the workplace while preparing control measures. You will oversee compliance with personal protective equipment (PPE), work permits, and daily safety procedures. Additionally, you will lead toolbox meetings, review Job Safety Analysis (JSA)/Task Risk Assessment (TRA) from contractors, record incidents and near misses, conduct initial investigations, and provide improvement recommendations.

The ideal candidate for this position should have a minimum of a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering or equivalent fields. You should possess at least 3 years of experience as an HSE professional in industrial or energy projects. Knowledge of work permits systems, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), confined spaces regulations, hot work procedures is essential. Certification as a General Occupational Health and Safety Expert would be advantageous. Strong communication skills for field interactions and report writing are required along with proficiency in conducting internal inspections and audits. Flexibility to work on project sites and shifts when necessary is also expected.
