The primary responsibilities of this role include operating process facilities according to standard operating procedures (SOPs), monitoring operational parameters, making necessary adjustments, reporting any abnormal conditions to supervisors, conducting routine equipment checks, recording daily production data accurately, coordinating with maintenance teams during disruptions, maintaining cleanliness in the work area, and participating in safety briefings at the beginning of each shift. To qualify for this position, candidates should ideally have an SMK/D3 degree in Engineering or equivalent field with experience in process facility operations being an added advantage. Understanding SOPs and workplace safety protocols is crucial for this role. Candidates must be detail-oriented when reading instruments, possess strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams, be disciplined in following procedures diligently, have the ability to create operation records efficiently, and be willing to work flexible shifts as required.
