As an HSE Advisor at Oceanic Production Support, your responsibilities will include identifying workplace hazards, assessing risks, and implementing controls to mitigate them effectively. You will oversee compliance with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) usage, work permits, and daily safety procedures. Leading toolbox meetings to provide safety guidance before commencing work is crucial. Reviewing Job Safety Analysis (JSA) from contractors to ensure proper mitigation on-site is essential. Additionally, you will be responsible for recording incidents, near misses, conducting initial investigations, and recommending improvements as needed. Coordinating with operational supervisors to halt unsafe work practices is part of the role. To qualify for this position, you must have at least a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent fields. A minimum of 3 years of experience as an HSE professional in industrial or energy projects is required. Proficiency in work permit systems like Lockout-Tagout (LOTO), confined space entry procedures, hot work permits is necessary. Possessing a General K3 Expert certificate or equivalent would be advantageous. Strong communication skills both on-site and in report writing are essential. Experience in conducting internal inspections and audits is preferred.
