The primary responsibilities of this role include verifying the completeness of work permits before commencing tasks, checking energy isolation and area security compliance, coordinating work schedules with operations, maintenance teams, and contractors, archiving daily work permits while monitoring their validity periods. Additionally, conducting on-site checks to compare actual conditions with permit specifications is crucial. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for compiling work permit summaries and weekly compliance statistics while assisting in familiarizing new employees with permit-to-work procedures.

To qualify for this position, candidates must hold a minimum of a Diploma (D3) in Engineering or equivalent fields. A minimum of 2-4 years' experience managing permit-to-work systems within process facilities is required. Proficiency in LOTO procedures, gas testing protocols, hazardous areas understanding is essential.
