The responsibilities include conducting hazard identification, risk assessment, and implementing controls in work areas. Monitoring compliance with personal protective equipment (PPE), work permits, and daily safety procedures is crucial. Leading toolbox meetings and providing safety guidance before commencing tasks are essential aspects of this role.

The ideal candidate should hold a minimum of a D3/S1 degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering or equivalent field with at least 3 years of experience as an HSE officer in industrial/energy projects. Proficiency in work permit systems, Lockout Tagout (LOTO), confined space regulations, hot work practices is necessary. Strong communication skills for field instructions and report writing are vital.
