About the job Role Summary PIF is seeking a real estate valuation professional to join the team in supporting the preparation of internal valuation of real estate investments in KSA and internationally; analysis of investment performance and review of external valuations of real estate investments. General Focus Area: Member of PIF Valuation team responsible for preparation of internal valuation of real estate investments in KSA and internationally; analysis of investment performance and review of external valuations of real estate investments Assess and challenge business plans/masterplans, participate in management discussions concerning business performance and outlook Prepare and review financial models of real estate assets for the purposes of ANAV; some exposure to business valuation is preferred but not essential Prepare and review valuation and spreadsheet models from simple Market approach calculations to more complex (e.g. complex master plan Residual valuations) Perform industry research including real estate comparable transactions, trends and market dynamics (residential, commercial, hospitality, logistics, etc.) Perform financial statement and benchmarking analysis/review Draft valuation reports and assist in the preparation of executive presentations Support external audit engagement for valuation-related matters Education and Years of Experience: Between 3 to 5 years of relevant experience with the valuation of real estate, financial modeling, financial analysis, and property research Experience with an accounting/consulting firm, valuation firm or SWF, Pension, PE or Infrastructure Fund Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in real estate, investment, finance, or business from an accredited college/university Achievement of or working towards a formal valuation accreditation (e.g. RICS, CFA, Taqeem, etc.) Advanced knowledge of real estate valuation methodology including income, market, and cost approaches
