Our platform, Ubuntu, is widely used in various cutting-edge initiatives such as public cloud, data science, AI, engineering innovation, and IoT. As a pioneer of global distributed collaboration with over 1,100 colleagues in 75 countries and very few office-based roles, we emphasize in-person team meetings two to four times yearly in unique locations worldwide to align on strategy and execution. As the Regional HR Manager at Canonical, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our EMEA region by leading a team of HR professionals to provide precise, compliant, and scalable HR operations. Reporting directly to the Global Head of HR, you will be instrumental in shaping our company during this period of continued growth. Your responsibilities will include overseeing talent development, succession planning, performance assessments, onboarding processes, culture and engagement initiatives aimed at fostering high-performing teams. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with senior leadership to drive performance management strategies and organizational design efforts across multiple countries.

The ideal candidate for this position should possess strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail to interpret data trends effectively. You will be expected to lead and scale Canonical's regional HR team while ensuring that all HR operations are executed accurately and in compliance with regulations. Furthermore, you will work collaboratively with Talent Science and Workplace Engineering teams to establish seamless processes across all HR regions.
