As the Manager - IT Asset Infrastructure Design, your key responsibilities will include developing and executing comprehensive strategies for IT asset infrastructure that align with organizational objectives. You will oversee the full lifecycle of IT assets, from acquisition to disposal, ensuring efficient deployment and management. Additionally, you will be responsible for designing and deploying network infrastructure (both wired and wireless) for new and existing facilities, ensuring high availability for critical systems, implementing security measures to protect network infrastructure, monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing efficiency.
Furthermore, you will collaborate with IT staff and vendors to integrate new technologies into our infrastructure. A strong understanding of networking protocols, security measures, and best practices for multiple vendors is essential for success in this role. Excellent problem-solving skills and communication abilities are required, with industry certifications such as CCIE, JNCIE, or ACE considered a plus. You will also be tasked with regularly monitoring IT asset inventories and performance to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements while providing training and mentorship on best practices in IT asset management to team members.
