We are currently seeking a skilled NGL Operations Process Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the efficient operation of our facilities by conducting regular assessments of plant performance and equipment functionality. By closely monitoring control room activities, analyzing process displays, and inspecting critical equipment, you will identify potential issues and propose targeted interventions to optimize productivity and minimize downtime.
As the successful candidate for this position, your responsibilities will include reviewing shift handover notes, examining process displays on Distributed Control Systems, and discussing ongoing challenges with supervisory personnel. You will also be tasked with conducting inspections of high-priority equipment such as heat exchangers and pumps to detect signs of wear or malfunction. Your ability to analyze economic losses resulting from suboptimal performance will be crucial in developing actionable recommendations for improvement.
Additionally, you will support operations during Turnaround & Inspection periods and unplanned Shutdown & Startup events by participating in equipment inspections and ensuring compliance with engineering procedures. Collaborating with operations board men at the control room to validate Multi-Variable Control parameters will enable you to optimize plant routines effectively. Your contributions through diligent observation, analytical thinking, and collaborative problem-solving will be instrumental in enhancing unit performance while minimizing waste and maximizing profitability.
