Job Description

We are seeking a General Manager - Operations with excellent communication skills and comprehension abilities. The ideal candidate will have prior exposure and experience working within the Airline Market. Key skills required include excellent comprehension abilities, working efficiently under pressure with speed and accuracy, effective decision-making skills, prioritization and organization skills, email writing proficiency, written communication skills, strategic thinking capabilities for account growth.

Operational Management:

- Oversee daily operations to ensure efficient service delivery meeting client requirements.
- Monitor performance metrics to enhance productivity and client satisfaction.
- Ensure adherence to established policies and service level agreements.

Team Leadership and Development:

- Lead Operations leaders and staff by fostering a positive work environment.
- Conduct regular performance reviews for Senior leadership members.
- Provide feedback and create development plans for team members.

Client Relationship Management:

- Act as the primary contact for clients addressing concerns promptly.
- Foster strong client relationships ensuring long-term satisfaction.
- Regularly update clients on performance improvements.

Strategic Planning and Execution:

- Develop operational strategies aligning with business goals.
- Collaborate with executive management to set objectives.
- Identify optimization opportunities for cost savings.

Compliance and Risk Management:

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Mitigate operational risks protecting company interests.
- Conduct audits implementing corrective actions when necessary.

Reporting and Analytics:

- Prepare reports on operational performance regularly.
- Utilize data analytics for informed decision-making driving improvements.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess a Grade 12 qualification along with proven managerial experience at a Senior executive Level/Head of role for at least 5 years. Strong leadership skills are essential along with excellent problem-solving abilities. Attention to detail is crucial as well as the capability to work effectively with stakeholders at a senior level. A Graduate qualification is preferred along with experience in managing multiple campaigns within the Airline Market sector.
