Charterhouse is partnering with a Multi-Million Asset Management firm who is looking to hire an Operations Manager to head up their Investment team, across a Multi-Asset portfolio.
Reporting to the Chief Investment Officer, this role will oversee the trade execution in order to optimize trading strategies and minimize execution costs whilst managing the daily reconciliation of trades, positions and cash balances. The Operations Manager will be measuring the fund’s performance by working closely with the performance analytics team to ensure optimization whilst making sure they are compliant with the current financial regulations and reporting requirements.
In addition, this role will be required to implement risk management policies and procedures whilst assessing the risk exposure, ensuring compliance with the risk limits. This position will also manage relationships with third parties, negotiating contracts and service level agreements.
To be considered for this role, the successful candidate should have over 8 years’ experience in a similar Operations Manager role and hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance/ Business Administration.
The ideal candidate must be someone from a Systematic/ Quant Hedge Fund background with a strong understanding of algorithmic trading strategies, financial markets and risk management principles. Experience in a multi-asset class hedge fund/buy side firm is preferable.
