We are currently seeking individuals (Investment Analyst to Investment Manager) with strong financial modeling skills to join a very interesting project in Abu Dhabi (DeepTech, Venture Capital, a worldwide network of top-tier Research Universities and Technology Parks leading to Abu Dhabi, etc.).

Despite being relatively new, Khalifa University (KU)
has earned an impressive global ranking. According to the QS Ranking, it is
already ranked 8th in Petroleum Engineering, 99th in Electrical and Electronic
Engineering, and 181st overall.

KU is in the process of setting up a subsidiary,
Khalifa University Enterprise Company, intended to manage its commercial
activities, which includes:
1. Building a global network of DeepTech partnerships with leading research universities,
technology parks, and VC funds
2. Providing incubation services to DeepTech startups
3. Creating a technology park
4. Investing in domestic and international DeepTech startups or rapidly expanding companies with significant ties to Khalifa University

5. Providing consulting services from KU's researchers
6. Offering lab services
7. Overseeing the management of KU's endowment
8. Growing KU’s Continuing Education offering”
Roles & Responsibilities

Develop all types of financial model including Financial Projections, Valuations and other equity valuation models
Prepare research & financial analysis on investment projects
Prepare feasibility studies for new projects / brands
Involvement in all aspects of due diligence on new investments (business analysis, industry thesis, competitive landscape, business/pricing model, detailed financial analysis and financial modeling / deal structuring)
Read/review business plans and pitch decks
Consolidate and analyze financial data (budgets, income statement forecasts etc) taking into account company’s goals and financial standing
Identify trends, advise company and recommend actions to a senior financial analyst based on sound analysis
Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis requested by Senior Management
Requirements & Skills

A minimum of 5 years of overall experience in financial analysis. Experience in investment banking, deal advisory within a Big 4 firm or well-reputed Consulting Firms is strongly appreciated.
Proven working experience in preparing complex financial models and summary reports for C-Suite audience.
Have a bachelor's degree in business or finance, CFA or MBA/MSc is preferable.
The FMVA (Financial Modeling and Valuation Analyst) certification, or an equivalent, would be valued
Expert working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint and good working knowledge of other MS office packages
Adequate working knowledge of budgeting, financial, management reporting, and building financial models
Excellent interpersonal, analytical, planning and organizing skills and good business acumen and take ownership of work.
