Responsibilities
Patient Acquisition
Collaborate with those responsible for the patient acquisition process aiming to facilitate achievement of established KPIs.
Direct assigned Patient Acquisition team to ensure timely follow up of all International Patient Referrals and liaison with family members to ensure a seamless admission to MH.
Ensure that all medical documentations and pre-authorization are completed for all scopes of services as dedicated by the relevant payer source.
To ensure key stakeholder engagement by using effective communication strategies and networking strategies.
Collaborate in determining the level of care for a new admission.
Leadership
Directly manage all staff (Physician, Nursing, Therapy, Support staff, etc.) of the facility to ensure that the clinical and service standards provided to our patients and families meet government regulatory equirements, JCI standards and international standards outlined by the CEO of MH.
Directly manage and collaborate with the physicians to ensure clinical care and service levels provided to our patients and families meet the government regulatory requirements and international standards of care.
Collaborate with the Executive team to develop clinical training programs to ensure all staff provides the same level of care in order for MH to be viewed as the “Gold Standard of Care” for our patients and families.
Responsible for the ongoing staff development and competency building within MH.
To facilitate the Executive teams’ strategic vision for MH.
To ensure that organizational development is a key factor in the culture of MH.
To identify key improvement strategies and facilitate change in a resource efficient and effective manner.
Responsible for the clinical operations of the assigned facility insuring operational systems and processes result in optimum output.
Responsible to ensure fiscal responsibility and transparency of assigned facility.
Ensure that leadership results in excellence in all measures of success including: clinical care, customer service levels, respectful conduct, and creating a results-driven organization.
Promote a management style that eliminates wastes, focuses on results not process, and ensures empowerment to employees.
Ensure all Senior Staff are supported and encouraged to perform at an exemplary standard.
Act as a role model and change agent within the MH team.
Ensure compliance with the U.A.E Labor Laws requirements.
Other duties as requested by the Executive Management team.
Quality
Ensures that MH Quality Management Plan is followed and acted upon by all staff.
Responsible for validation of policies and guidelines.
Responsible to ensure all Quality systems and processes function at an optimal level, yielding the required outcome or result.
Promote Quality of Life standards and lead by example in caring for patients and families.
Ensure all patients and families are treated with dignity and respect.
Ensure all staff presents a professional appearance, attitude, and conduct which reflects outstanding customer service.
Responsible for fostering team work, enhanced communication both internally and externally and ensuring the provision of a high quality service according to a defined health, safety and environmental policy.
Ensures that all Key Performance Indicators are achieved or actioned on.
Qualifications and Experience Requirements
Education
Bachelors degree in nursing
MSc in Healthcare or Management or Administration
Experience
Not less than 5 years of relevant progressice experience in a similar role or senior executive position
Preferred Experience
Experience in managing resource allocation and budget
Experience with work force planning
Experience with overseeing competency based practice
Experience with DOH or DHA regulatory policy
Experience with JCIA and other international accreditation bodies
