Roles, Responsibilities, Duties:
UAbility to Quantity take off including ability to confirm the accuracy of the quantity provided by consultants/ contractors and vendors.
Reviewing costs plans and cost consultant’s quantity estimates.
Ability to produce the comprehensive BOQ alone with quantity take off with analyzing the drawings/ specification etc.
Preparation of payment certificates and upload into SAP system to get the formal approval.
Understanding construction & development budget and monitor constantly and advise if any potential ground for price inclination.
Assist Contract Manager to obtain management approval for the budget by preparing the budget and upload into SAP system.
Monitor and follow up the approval hierarchy to ensure subsequent action can be initiated without any hindrance.
Comparison of tender/ quotation with the tender/ RFP and advise the inclusion and exclusion for management direction.
Prepare and update monthly report.
SAP - Create budget, purchase order and interim payment certificate.
Qualification:
Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
Min 10 years working experience and preferably had worked with developer, consultant and contractor firm in SAP system.
Key Skills and Competencies:
Possesses a thorough knowledge of all aspects of pre-contract service such as cost planning, value engineering, procurement process, tender documentation, tender evaluation and post contract service like project cost control, contract administration, interim valuation, assessment of variation and closing of final account.
Knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
