Madrid City Furniture, a leading furniture retailer in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Supply Chain/Inventory Controller to join our team. As the Supply Chain/Inventory Controller, you will be responsible for demand and supply planning, monitoring inventory levels, replenishing stock as needed, managing inbound/outbound products, ensuring inventory record accuracy, conducting audits, analyzing data, and other related tasks. You will play a crucial role in forecasting future needs by analyzing sales data, market trends, and inventory positions to optimize our supply chain processes.
Your core responsibilities will include overseeing inventory management to maintain optimal stock levels and efficient space utilization. Implementing inventory control processes to reduce costs and prevent stock-outs or overstock situations will be essential. You will also ensure accurate tracking of all inbound and outbound inventory transactions to minimize discrepancies between system records and physical stock.
In addition to managing warehouses effectively and developing strong teamwork within your team, you will analyze sales/purchase/return data to generate reports for management decision-making. Strong communication skills are key as you coordinate with different Strategic Business Units (SBUs) in the GCC region and beyond. Conducting periodic audits and developing reports based on audit findings will also be part of your responsibilities.
