As a Senior Accountant at Axianta, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely consolidation of Finance Department reporting needs by coordinating with various departments. Your responsibilities will include monitoring collections from customers on a daily basis across all offices, handling cash and cheque deposits in the bank, consolidating receipts from customers daily, and reviewing supporting information before processing invoice payments. Additionally, you will be responsible for posting receipts to the accounting system, updating payment reports department-wise on a weekly and monthly basis, and maintaining subsidiary accounts by verifying transactions.
Furthermore, you will be involved in bank reconciliation activities, reconciling intercompany balances periodically, preparing journal entries, assisting with year-end closing processes and audits, communicating with Project Managers regarding monthly project invoices, ensuring compliance with accounting procedures by working closely with project management staff on job cost estimates and reports analysis. You will also be responsible for preparing monthly cash flow projections income statements and processing monthly payroll using the WPS System.
