As we continue to grow and expand across various divisions, we are seeking a highly experienced Senior Procurement Manager to join our senior management team. Reporting directly to the Commercial Director, the ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a robust procurement strategy that aligns with our overall business objectives.
In this role, you will lead strategic procurement initiatives aimed at supporting our revenue growth, profitability, and market competitiveness. You will oversee global procurement activities, manage high-value contracts and supplier relationships across multiple countries and industries. Your focus will be on driving significant cost savings through effective contract negotiation, bulk procurement strategies, and strategic sourcing. Additionally, you will spearhead the integration of advanced procurement technologies to modernize operations and enhance decision-making processes.
As the Senior Procurement Manager, you will establish standardized procurement processes and procedures to ensure consistency, quality, and compliance. Building strong partnerships with key suppliers is crucial for timely delivery and competitive pricing. You will also develop risk management strategies to minimize disruptions in the supply chain while upholding ethical sourcing principles. Collaboration with internal stakeholders such as finance, operations, legal, and engineering is essential for aligning procurement activities with business needs.
We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related fields along with professional certifications such as CIPS or CPSM. An MBA or advanced degree is highly preferred. A minimum of 20 years of progressive procurement experience is required with at least 7 years in a senior leadership role within contracting or construction industries. Strong knowledge of technology sourcing in MEP, Civil Engineering Power sector Facilities Management is essential.
