As an Investment Analyst at Abu Dhabi Capital Group, you will play a crucial role in supporting Portfolio Managers and the Head of Public Investments. Your responsibilities will include actively monitoring existing investments, conducting fundamental analysis on companies and sectors within Emerging Markets, and generating new investment ideas. You will be tasked with preparing detailed reports, models, and presentations for various stakeholders within the organization. Additionally, you will assist in portfolio management tasks such as performance analytics, risk management, and relationship building with industry experts.
Ideal candidates for this position should possess 2-5 years of experience in listed equities or related fields within buy-side investment teams or sell-side research firms focused on capital markets. A Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or mathematics is required, along with an MBA from a top-tier institute or progress towards obtaining a CFA designation. Proficiency in financial analysis and modeling is essential, as well as a strong understanding of equity valuations. Candidates with knowledge of other asset classes such as fixed income and derivatives are preferred.
We are looking for individuals who demonstrate strong quantitative skills and proficiency in tools such as MS Excel. Familiarity with programming languages like Python and business analytics tools like Power BI is advantageous. A basic understanding of data science/machine learning techniques or a willingness to learn is also desirable. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for this role. While Arabic language proficiency is a plus, it is not mandatory.
