As the Credit Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing credit underwriting and risk management functions within the bank. Your responsibilities will include reviewing and analyzing credit proposals, trade, and financial transactions, as well as assisting in implementing the risk infrastructure roadmap by coordinating with various risk units. You will act as a liaison with key stakeholders to drive the resolution of audit points or issues, conduct regular risk assessments of banking projects, portfolios, and products, and prepare comprehensive reports and presentations highlighting key findings, insights, and recommendations.
To be successful in this role, you must meet certain criteria. Candidates based in or willing to relocate to the UAE from the KSA are encouraged to apply. A Bachelor’s Degree is required, with an MBA/CA/CFA preferred. You should have a minimum of 15 years of experience in corporate banking, including 10 years in corporate appraisal and risk-related functions. Knowledge of the latest banking and accounting regulations is essential, along with strong analytical and numerical skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are necessary, with knowledge of Arabic considered a plus.
