We are currently hiring for the position of Inventory Controller in the Marine Industry. The Inventory Controller will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of inventory control, including tracking and maintaining inventory levels, conducting regular audits, and ensuring accurate record-keeping. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability
- Conduct regular audits to identify discrepancies or issues with inventory records
- Coordinate with other departments to forecast demand and plan accordingly
- Implement inventory management systems and processes to improve efficiency
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Analyze data and generate reports on inventory performance
- Train and supervise junior staff members in inventory control procedures
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
- Proven experience in inventory control within the marine industry is mandatory
- Strong knowledge of inventory management software systems
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively
