**Job Description:**
Adecco, a leading talent advisory and solutions company operating in the United Arab Emirates, is currently seeking an Internal Audit Manager for a prominent client based in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the Group Head of Internal Audit in developing and executing the annual audit plan while leading internal audits on a day-to-day basis within the Banking, Financial, and Investment sector.
The Internal Audit Manager will contribute to the Internal Audit function by identifying risks associated with business objectives, evaluating controls to mitigate those risks, and enhancing risk management processes. This role involves leading and managing internal audit engagements effectively, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal policies, and acting as a point person for medium to complex audit projects.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in finance or business administration (Master's degree preferred) along with internationally recognized accounting or auditing certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CIA. A minimum of 10 years of experience in Internal Audit, external audit, or internal control functions within financial/investment institutions is required. Proficiency in communication skills (both oral and written), analytical skills, reporting capabilities, IT MS Office proficiency (Word, PowerPoint, advanced Excel), as well as expertise in financial services institutions are essential qualifications.
Key responsibilities include planning audits, conducting fieldwork, holding closing meetings with auditees, and preparing informative audit reports. Successful candidates will collaborate with the team to develop an Annual Audit Plan aligned with organizational goals and regulatory requirements while delivering planned engagements efficiently.
