Job Description:
We are currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Quantity Surveyor/Procurement Operative to join our team in Dubai. This role is essential in overseeing cost management and procurement processes for our luxury residential projects.
This is an ideal opportunity for the correct candidate to work closely with highly motivated and experienced individuals to learn new skills and career advancement within the group.
Key Responsibilities:
• Cost Planning and Analysis: Assist in developing detailed cost plans and analysis for each project phase, ensuring alignment with the overall project budget and objectives.
• Procurement Management: Assist in procurement activities, including sourcing materials and services, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships.
• Contract Administration: Administer various contracts, ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and timelines.
• Project Financial Reporting: Provide regular financial reporting and analysis to the Managing Director, highlighting cost trends and potential areas for cost-saving.
• Value Engineering: Work with design and construction teams to identify opportunities for value engineering without compromising on quality.
• Market Research: Conduct market research to stay informed about the latest trends and best practices in construction materials and methods.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as a key point of contact for financial matters between internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Site Visits: Regularly visit construction sites to assess material usage, work progress, and compliance with specifications.
• Sustainability Focus: Ensure that procurement practices align with the company's sustainability goals and standards.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree or similar in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
2. Significant experience in quantity surveying and procurement within the luxury residential real estate sector.
3. Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
4. Proficiency in cost management software and tools.
5. Ability to effectively manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
