The role will be attractive for a finance professional (7-8 years’ experience) with a mix of FP&A, Controlling, Financial/Management Reporting experience gained in a large reputable organisation involved in trading/distribution or/and a Big 4.
As an FC/Finance Business Partner, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company's controlling functions, including budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis. You will work closely with senior management to provide accurate financial information and help guide decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the trading transactions team and provide guidance and support to team members
Develop and implement controlling strategies that support the company's overall business objectives
Create and manage the annual budget process, including coordinating with department heads to ensure accurate and timely submissions
Develop and implement cost control measures to ensure efficient use of resources
Analyse and evaluate financial performance against key business metrics
Provide regular financial reports to senior management and other stakeholders
Manage relationships with external stakeholders such as banks, auditors, and other financial institutions
Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations
Key Requirements:
A European language speaker is highly preferred for this role
Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting or a related field as a minimum
ACCA or similar qualification is preferred
At least 7-8 years of experience in a Controlling/Finance position in a large reputable organisation involved in trading/distribution or/and a Big 4
Team management experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience working in the commodity trading industry is a plus
Knowledge of local and international financial regulation
