We are currently seeking a Financial Planning Analyst to join our team at Majid Al Futtaim Properties – Asset Management Business Unit. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting and analyzing financial data, assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes, and creating dynamic templates and reports. Collaborating with senior financial planning team members, you will ensure accurate financial planning and reporting across our shopping malls.
As a Financial Planning Analyst, your key responsibilities will include collaborating with Finance & Cross functional teams to develop annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans for each shopping mall. You will monitor financial performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings, liaise with business stakeholders for accurate rolling forecasts, assist in system enhancements like Yardi and Hyperion, conduct pre-close reviews with GS finance teams, and resolve any reporting challenges within the FP&A team.
The ideal candidate for this role should have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or equivalent with professional qualifications such as CPA/CMA/ACCA being highly desirable. A minimum of 2-5 years of post-qualification experience in finance support functions is required, preferably within the shopping malls industry. Strong financial literacy, interpersonal skills, presentation skills, experience with Oracle fusion/Hyperion/Yardi systems, and advanced Excel knowledge are essential for success in this role.
