As a Barista at SLS, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming environment for our customers. Your responsibilities will include welcoming customers, taking orders, preparing and serving coffee drinks according to prescribed recipes, and maintaining inventories of coffee beans and supplies. You will also be responsible for promoting coffee consumption by educating customers on different blends and brewing methods.
To excel in this role, you must have average proficiency in English language skills for effective communication with customers. Additionally, you should possess good problem-solving skills and be able to handle cash transactions efficiently. Previous experience in a fast-paced coffee shop or specialty coffee shop is required to ensure that you can meet the demands of our busy establishment.
We are looking for a team player with strong interpersonal skills who pays attention to detail. A secondary education qualification along with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role is necessary for this position.
