Our client is a leading global health service’s organisation looking for a divisional Head of Finance for their largest division. Globally renowned and considered a true industry leader, the organisation is now backed by one of Australia’s pre-eminent PE groups who are very focused on the continual growth of the organisation both domestically and internationally.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director of the division, this role will be integral in driving the business forward from a commercial and operational standpoint. The executive management team is very strong, the board is cohesive and businesses management team share a clear strategic direction for future growth.

The Challenge

Reporting to the MD, you will be responsible for the provision of reporting and value-add commercial services to drive business performance, growth, and profitability of the division. More broadly, your responsibilities will include:

- Prepare and present accurate, timely and comprehensive financial reports to senior management, stakeholders and regulatory authorities
- Oversee a high-performing finance team of 4
- Providing commercial decision-making support and governance to the business
- Developing initiatives to improve the productivity and profitability of the business
- Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to ensure optimal financial stability and efficiency. Implement strategies to optimize cash management across the organization
- Reviewing and challenging business plans and assisting with strategic planning
- Providing business case and forecasting support to improve the financial outcomes reached by the business
- Relationship Management: Engage with healthcare professionals including specialists and independent contractors, build relationships and assist in supporting their business growth and efficiency

Key Job Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in finance leadership roles
  • Experience in multisite operations, preferably within healthcare
  • Experience in establishing or enhancing 'first-class' systems and procedures
