Your new role
Collaborate with the CEO and COO to monitor and manage the business plan, driving growth and performance
Optimise critical financial levers by implementing a robust KPI framework, focusing on EBITDA and cash
Provide constructive challenge and support to the CEO and Board, identifying operational improvement opportunities
Leverage extensive capital markets experience to structure attractive deals for potential investors
Define financial objectives aligned with the business plan
Lead the design and provision of insightful financial information to the Board and Shareholders
Evaluate performance against budget and long-term strategy
Develop robust financial systems, controls, and risk policies
Coordinate annual audits and ensure compliance with reporting requirements
Develop and lead a visible finance team, including direct reports
Maintain high standards of control and accountability
Effectively communicate with stakeholders, including the Board, shareholders, and external advisors
What you'll need to succeed
Prior experience of CFO or equivalent FD level experience with a demonstrable track record of growing a business
Experience of working with and maintaining strong relationships with existing and new investors
Fully qualified accountant, ideally with experience of GAAP accounting standards
Entrepreneurial, collaborative and strategic mind set
