As the Engineering Manager at Bluewater Hayes Inc., you will be responsible for guiding engineering operations, optimizing processes, and ensuring that projects align with business objectives. Your key responsibilities will include developing and implementing engineering initiatives that support global business growth, leading and mentoring a team of engineers to ensure high-performance execution and continuous improvement, overseeing the design, development, and implementation of robotics, machinery, and automation solutions, managing resources, timelines, and budgets to meet project objectives, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to drive innovation and process optimization, as well as providing strategic insight into engineering best practices and emerging technologies.
We are looking for a candidate with at least 5 years of experience in engineering leadership, managing teams and complex projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machinery, automation, and manufacturing technologies. Experience in a global business environment working across multiple teams and time zones is essential. Expertise in project management, resource allocation, and process improvement is required. Knowledge of engineering regulations and quality standards is also necessary. Excellent leadership skills along with strong communication abilities and strategic problem-solving skills are crucial for success in this role. An MBA or advanced engineering degree would be preferred.
