We are currently looking for a Senior Engineering Team Lead to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading an engineering team focused on designing new products, reverse engineering existing designs, and implementing modifications to enhance product reliability and address obsolescence challenges. You will oversee the development of FAA PMA, DoD SAR, and DER-approved products and repair procedures. Your key responsibilities will include providing technical guidance to engineers, reviewing design iterations, maintaining project visibility, leading R&D projects for design enhancement, facilitating knowledge-sharing sessions, collaborating with program managers to align project goals with departmental capacity, overseeing test resources effectively managing hardware needs.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 8 years of engineering experience with FAA PMA, DER, and DoD SAR approvals. Proficiency in engineering tools such as ANSYS, MathCAD, MATLAB, SolidWorks, and PDM systems is required. Strong project management skills along with experience in electro-mechanical and hydraulic aircraft components are essential. Additionally, leadership experience in managing design teams and balancing technical and schedule risks is highly valued.
