As an HSE Advisor at Horizon Oilfield Support, your responsibilities will include identifying hazards and assessing risks in the workplace, as well as implementing control measures. You will oversee compliance with personal protective equipment (PPE) usage, work permits, and daily safety procedures. Leading toolbox meetings and providing pre-job safety briefings will be crucial aspects of your role. Additionally, you will review Job Safety Analysis (JSA) from contractors to ensure proper mitigation measures are implemented on-site. Recording incidents, near misses, conducting initial investigations, and making improvement recommendations are essential tasks that you will handle diligently.

To excel in this role, you must hold a minimum of a D3/S1 degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering or related fields. A proven track record of at least 3 years as an HSE professional in industrial or energy projects is required. Familiarity with work permits systems, Lockout-Tagout (LOTO), confined space entry protocols, hot work procedures is essential. Possessing a General K3 Expert certificate or equivalent would be advantageous. Strong communication skills for field interactions and report writing are necessary. Experience in conducting internal inspections and audits is preferred. Flexibility to work on-site at project locations and shifts when necessary is expected along with proficiency in office applications for reporting purposes.
