As an HSE Advisor at Equator Drilling & Engineering, you will play a crucial role in ensuring workplace safety by identifying hazards, assessing risks, and implementing controls. Your responsibilities will include overseeing compliance with personal protective equipment (PPE) usage, work permits, and daily safety procedures. You will lead toolbox meetings to provide safety guidance before commencing work activities. Additionally, you will review Job Safety Analysis (JSA)/Task Risk Assessment (TRA) documents from contractors to ensure proper mitigation measures are implemented on-site. In the event of incidents or near misses, you will be responsible for recording them, conducting initial investigations, and recommending corrective actions.

To qualify for this position, you must hold a minimum of a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or related fields. A background of at least 3 years as an HSE professional in industrial or energy projects is required. Proficiency in work permit systems, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), confined space entry protocols, and hot work procedures is essential. Possessing a General K3 Expert certificate or its equivalent would be advantageous. Strong communication skills for field interactions and report writing are necessary. Experience with conducting internal inspections and audits is preferred. Flexibility to be stationed at project sites and work shifts when necessary is expected alongside proficiency in office applications for reporting purposes.
