Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing various financial functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial planning. The Financial Controller will be responsible for the following key areas:
Responsibilities:
Month End Closing Review:
Lead the month-end closing process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Review financial statements and reports to identify discrepancies, variances, and areas for improvement.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Develop and manage the budgeting and forecasting processes.
Collaborate with department heads to establish financial targets and monitor performance against budget.
MIS (Management Information System):
Implement and maintain an effective Management Information System.
Provide timely and insightful financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
AR/AP Management (Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable):
Oversee the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions.
Implement efficient processes for timely collections and payments, optimizing cash flow.
Treasury Management:
Manage the company's treasury functions, including cash management, investments, and risk assessment.
Ensure liquidity needs are met while maximizing returns on investments.
Compliance Handling:
Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, laws, and accounting standards.
Implement and monitor internal controls to mitigate financial risks.
Lease IRFR-16 Accounting:
Oversee the implementation and compliance of Lease IFRS-16 accounting standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to accurately account for lease assets and liabilities.
Business Plan and Expansion:
Contribute to the development of the company's business plan and expansion strategies.
Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Chartered Accountant (CA) certification is mandatory.
Proven experience as a Financial Controller or in a similar financial leadership role.
Strong understanding of financial systems, regulations, and accounting principles.
Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and communication skills.
Proficient in financial software and MS Excel.
