As a Senior Financial Accountant at Portas Consulting, you will play a crucial role as a key member of our global Finance team. Reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller in the UK, you will oversee the financial accounting processes, statutory returns, and audit procedures for our operations in the Middle East region, specifically in KSA and UAE. Your responsibilities will include completing month-end financial processes, reconciling monthly balance sheets, preparing and submitting VAT/WHT tax returns and corporate payments, reviewing bank reconciliations and staff expense claims, overseeing monthly payroll preparation and payments processing, as well as managing audits for entities in KSA and UAE.
In addition to these core responsibilities, you will also be tasked with managing regional government platforms and ensuring timely renewal of trade licenses.
