As a Senior Financial Accountant at Confidential, your responsibilities will include preparing and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. You will ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and standards while providing insights through variance analysis to explain financial results. Monitoring general ledger accounts for accuracy and overseeing month-end and year-end close processes will be essential aspects of your role. Additionally, you will assist in developing budgets and forecasts, monitoring actual performance against budgeted figures, and making recommendations for budget adjustments as needed.
To excel in this role, you should have a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in accounting or finance. A CPA/CMA certification is preferred along with 7+ years of professional accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting setting. Your experience should include financial reporting, reconciliations, account analysis, tax filings expertise, financial audits knowledge, internal controls familiarity, strong understanding of accounting principles and practices as well as IFRS standards application to financial accounting and reporting. Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is required with Arabic language skills being advantageous.
