Job Title: Accounting Supervisor
Position Reports to: Head of Finance
Location: Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia
SUMMARY: Financial planning, analytical & budgeting, VAT, monthly & year closing.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support the Head of Finance in the provision
Assist with the preparation of budget and Best Estimate
Support the implementation of the approved budget to monitor actual expenditure against budget, analyze significant variances and identify any opportunities for cost efficiencies
Assist with the development of financial models in such areas as financial and expense performance, rate of return, depreciation, working capital, and investments
Prepare reports, graphs and charts of data developed
Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations for decision making purposes
Knowledge on Zakat/VAT Authority communications
Knowledge on Accounts receivable – Invoicing & Client Communications
Knowledge on Month end, Yearend reconciliation, Audit Process
Knowledge on Banking Transactions.
EDUCATION / CERTIFICATION / KNOWLEDGE:
Bachelors degree in a related subject or otherwise extensive finance experience and demonstrated financial acumen
Accounting Qualification (ACCA, CA, CMA, IFRS) is preferable
Recognized professional accounting qualification is preferable
Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite including a high level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
EXPERIENCE: Requires a minimum of 7 years related experience in financial planning & accounting.
