HSSE Specialist (E2) - Jeddah

We are currently seeking a proactive HSSE Specialist (E2) to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The primary responsibility of this role is to oversee the Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) aspects of our projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with HSE regulations and guidelines set forth by local/national authorities and international standards.

Key responsibilities include monitoring the HSE performance of Supervision Consultants and Contractors, conducting investigations into accidents/incidents to identify root causes and provide recommendations for prevention, recording safety hazards and non-conformances, coordinating with Project Managers for effective implementation of HSE systems on project sites, liaising with relevant authorities to ensure adherence to HSE requirements, training staff on HSE protocols, reviewing and approving Contractors' HSE documents for compliance, conducting scheduled and unscheduled HSE audits/inspections, and reporting non-conformances to management.

The successful candidate must possess a Degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience along with relevant international certifications. A minimum of 10 years' experience in large-scale projects is required for this role. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to ensuring safety are essential qualities we are looking for in potential candidates.
