We are currently seeking an experienced Cost Manager to join our dynamic team. As a Cost Manager at JASARA PMC, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial aspects of our projects, ensuring effective cost management and budget control. Working closely with project teams, finance departments, and external stakeholders, you will be responsible for developing comprehensive cost plans and maintaining strict budgetary controls to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
Your primary responsibilities as a Cost Manager will include developing and implementing cost control procedures and best practices for projects, preparing detailed cost estimates and budgets, monitoring ongoing project expenses, analyzing cost data to provide insights to project teams and management, collaborating with project managers to track financial performance, preparing cost reports for stakeholders summarizing project health and financial status, evaluating contracts and negotiating terms with vendors and suppliers, as well as conducting risk analysis and advising on cost implications of project changes.
To qualify for this role, you must hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance or related field along with at least 15 years of experience in cost management or a similar role. Strong knowledge of cost estimation principles, proficiency in cost estimation software and project management tools are essential requirements. Additionally, exceptional analytical skills coupled with problem-solving abilities are key attributes we seek in potential candidates.
