The Development Director will oversee the strategic planning and execution of real estate development projects within NEOM. Responsibilities include managing the divisional strategy alignment with NEOM's vision and objectives, monitoring financial performance versus budget, leading talent development initiatives for effective team management, and implementing policies and controls to ensure quality service delivery. This role requires strong leadership skills to drive successful relationships with stakeholders and achieve project objectives.
Key responsibilities also include overseeing project initiation by developing plans that align with overall development objectives and ensuring adequate resourcing throughout the project lifecycle. The Development Director will lead project concept development by evaluating ideas, creating project visions in line with NEOM's goals, collaborating with design teams to meet project parameters, and maintaining project returns. Feasibility studies will be conducted to assess economic impact and profitability while continuously updating business plans during project delivery.
The ideal candidate will have at least 15 years of experience in real estate development with managerial responsibilities. Engineering expertise, financial feasibility analysis skills, decision-making abilities, strong communication skills, and a track record of delivering outstanding results are essential. A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related fields is required. Experience in KSA or GCC is preferred but not mandatory.
