Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Chief Accountant at UGAFCO located in Jeddah. The Chief Accountant will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and financial reporting. They will work closely with senior executives and other business units to ensure financial objectives are met while complying with all relevant laws and regulations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or higher degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Professional accounting designation (e.g., CPA or CMA)
Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards, including GAAP and IFRS
Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, including tax and compliance
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of an organization
Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office programs, such as Excel
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
