In this role based in Dammam at Vallourec Saudi Arabia (VSA), the main industrial footprint in the Middle East region serving key customer Aramco, you will report to the Middle East and UK Controlling Director. Working closely with the VSA controlling manager and various cross-functional teams such as sales, supply chain, purchasing, IT, and operations across Saudi Arabia and UAE, you will play a pivotal role in financial analysis and business operations.
As the Finance & Business Analyst at VSA, your key responsibilities will include managing inventory plans during monthly closings to enhance reliability, participating in stock management projects for process automation, supporting month-end closing procedures including accruals and variance analysis preparation. You will also assist in financial forecasting and budgeting activities while providing ad hoc costing support for tenders. Additionally, you will contribute to long-term improvement projects such as updating standard costing models, analyzing profitability per activity, automating controlling tools using business intelligence tools like RPA and financial digital applications.
The ideal candidate for this role should be fluent in English with experience in Financial Audit within an industrial environment being highly valued. Strong communication skills along with proficiency in SAP and Microsoft applications especially Excel are essential. A positive mindset coupled with analytical prowess is crucial for summarizing complex information effectively. A Master's degree in business, finance or engineering is required for this position.
