Senior Interior Designer – High End Residential
Eva Interiors is a UAE based award winning high end interior design firm that operates globally with bases in Fujairah, Dubai, Riyadh & London. We specialise in creating bespoke and beautifully crafted spaces regionally and beyond, and are currently looking for a talented Senior Interior Designer to work directly with and report to the Creative Design Director.
This individual will be responsible for supporting EVA’s projects in terms of Quality and Standards expected by our clients, whilst ensuring all projects are commercially viable and in line with client requirements. He or she will also be highly committed to Eva with a strong work ethic, goes above and beyond expectations, possesses excellent organisational skills and can assist and encourage members of the design team. This individual must be refined and measured with a keen attention to detail. He or she must have excellent communication and reporting skills, and the ability to communicate in both Arabic and English as their first language. The location for this position is our Fujairah office which is the first interior design office to be awarded 4th Greatest Place to Work.
Roles and Responsibility:
Support the Creative Design Director in monitoring and reviewing the design team with high end interior design projects in the concepting and visualization stages.
Review the detailed LOF’s and FF&E proposals, to ensure it is as per design requirements for project delivery.
Review technical drawings from the Projects Team, checking against design requirements and troubleshooting for any issues arising during production or on site.
Assist the FF&E team with reviewing selections in terms of international suppliers, budget, quality and aesthetics.
Attend internal meetings with the Creative Design Director to guide the teams with creative ideas, brands and technical standards such as specifications, finishes, material feasibility and applicability, provide alternatives where required.
Attend all required client meeting with the Creative Design Director. This role will take in-charge of CDD’s office during short absences.
Requirements:
• Architect or Interior Designer by educational background from a top tier university
• 5-6 years’ proven UAE/GCC work experience in handling high end residential projects internationally.
• Candidate should have a diversified knowledge of all design styles particularly European classical.
• Knowledge in Project Site review in terms of design and technical support is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of International suppliers/ brands.
• Excellent Arabic and English speaking skills is mandatory to the role.
• Experience with MS Office, Photoshop & AutoCAD is a must.
